The results of the survey conducted in the third quarter of 2023 showed that the income of 5.6% of the population of Kazakhstan is below the minimum subsistence level. This white paper was published by the National Bureau of Statistics, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The minimum subsistence level in the country was 51,710 tenge.
The highest level of poverty was recorded in Turkestan region - 9.6%, and the lowest - 2.7% in Karaganda region and Astana city.
