President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev has resigned from the Amanat party, Adyrna reports.
"As of today, I have resigned as chairman of the Amanat party and decided to leave the party. This step is symbolic. I thank all of you for your trust and support in the presidential election. Thank you for trusting me to lead the party at the crucial moment," he said at the party congress.
