Kazakhstan and the United States are preparing to sign a plan of military cooperation for 2023-2027, the national portal "Adyrna" reports with reference to "kaztag.kz".
"A meeting of the working group of coordinating officers of the Ministries of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United States was held in Nur-Sultan. Representatives of the Ministries of Defense discussed the draft plan of bilateral military cooperation for 2022," the press service said.
The main efforts on cooperation between the two countries are aimed at addressing issues of military education, peacekeeping, logistics, training of professional military, medical and engineering personnel.
These and other aspects of defense cooperation are reflected in the next five-year cooperation plan for 2023-2027, which is currently being prepared for signing.
The two sides noted that at the annual working meetings, experts would be able to discuss in detail and identify specific areas for the development of bilateral military cooperation.
