President Nursultan Nazarbayev has decided to hand over his powers in the "Nur Otan" party to the President, the national portal "Adyrna" reports.
This was announced by Adviser to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidos Ukibay.
"At the enlarged meeting of the Political Council, Nursultan Nazarbayev decided to delegate the powers of the Chairman of the Nur Otan Party, emphasizing that the party should be headed by the President. The procedure for delegating powers will be carried out in accordance with the Party Charter," he said.
