A new technology for detecting unlicensed drivers has been launched in Almaty, the national portal Adyrna reports with reference to Polisia.kz.
"Once the new service detects the vehicle through a video recording system, it will be possible to pass the data to the patrol teams for immediate detention and stopping," the city police said.
It should be noted that in our country there is a criminal liability for driving without a license.
On October 25, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Saken Sarsenov said that video surveillance will be installed in all police stations until December 1. In this regard, this year the Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to install 16,658 cameras.
The Minister believes that this innovation will make the work of the police more transparent and reduce the number of complaints about the actions of employees.
