Residents of Shabanbay bi village of Aktogay district inKaraganda region built a statue for the leader of the Alash movement Alikhan Bokeikhan, the national portal "Adyrna" reports citing "azattyq.org".
The monument to the 155th anniversary of Alikhan Bokeikhan was created by sculptor Beibit Mustafin, a member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, with the funds raised by graduates of the Shabanbay Bi village school in 1990.
