The official newspaper of the Communist Party of China has opened a website in the Kazakh language, Adyrna correspondent reports citing orda.kz.
According to the newspaper's website, the publication will be available in 12 foreign languages from January 1, 1997.
The website "Halyk Gazeti" has eight sections: China, economy, world news, China-Kazakh relations, tourism, photography, sports, culture and science.
The publication is run by the People's Daily. The leadership noted that it is actively working to create a new platform for communication and mutual understanding between Internet users in China and the relevant areas.
