The governor of Nur-Sultan Altai Kulginov said at a press conference on the development of the region within the Address of the President at the Central Communications Service under the President of Kazakhstan, the national portal Adyrna reports citing Baq.kz.
As part of the pandemic, we have reduced some funds. Many events have been cut. Cultural events have moved online. It was noted that the city budget has been optimized to 43 billions tenge. Now children study at a distance. In winter children want to play. There are parks and other public spaces. It also costs money. We want to attract investors and create a children's playground in a crowded place at your own expense. And if investors do not invest, there is a demand from the population. We will pay for it from the state budget. Because people are used to it, - he said.
Kulginov did not say how much money was allocated for the decoration of the city and the ice town.
Each district has its own costs. I can't say for sure now. We will give an additional answer, - he said.
It's worth noting that 80 millions tenge were allocated for the construction of an ice town in the capital.
