Pakistan’s armed forces have launched a large-scale military operation against India in response to recent actions by the Indian side, reports the national portal “Adyrna,” citing Geo TV.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated that despite several Indian military actions over the past three days, Pakistan had tried to avoid escalating tensions.
“India repeatedly accused our country of carrying out attacks. Today’s operation is Pakistan’s first strike. New Delhi tried to portray us as the aggressor to the international community, but the world did not believe those claims. We respect calls for restraint from other nations, but India has crossed the red line. Therefore, we were forced to respond,” the minister said.
According to foreign media, Pakistani forces destroyed India’s military airbase in Adampur and also struck the Udhampur base. Additionally, a cyberattack has reportedly disabled 70% of India’s power grid.
