In 2025, a large-scale military parade will be held in Astana to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. According to the Adyrna national portal, 2.5 billion tenge will be allocated from the state budget for organizing this event.
According to Colonel Vitaly Adamovich, a representative of the Department of Educational and Ideological Work of the Ministry of Defense, the allocated funds will be used for purchasing fuel and spare parts, covering travel expenses for military personnel, troop movements, and tailoring new military uniforms.
The military parade will feature infantry troops, mechanized vehicles, and military aviation.
A key highlight of this year’s parade will be the display of the battle flags of 23 divisions and brigades that were formed in Kazakhstan. Additionally, a historic T-34 tank, preserved in the Military History Museum, will take part in the event.
During the parade, modern weapons and military equipment acquired in recent years will be showcased. In total, around 4,500 people will participate in the event.
