Former U.S. President Donald Trump criticized his predecessor, Joe Biden, for failing to demand increased funding for Ukraine from European countries. Trump made these remarks on Tuesday during a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, according to “Adyrna.”
“We have provided nearly $300 billion in aid to Ukraine, while Europe has contributed less than $200 billion. Why? Because Biden never asked them for money—he just gave away our money,” Trump told reporters.
Additionally, Trump stated that his administration is currently negotiating with European allies to “match” their contributions with Washington’s financial support.
