Kazakhstani boxer Zhanibek Alimkhanuly (16-0, 11 KOs) has expressed his willingness to fight American David Benavidez (30-0, 24 KOs). This was reported by Prosports.kz, according to “Adyrna.”
“If Benavidez agrees to fight me, you all know that I am always ready! This will be a great fight! He is a strong boxer, and when two top fighters meet in the ring, the fans will be happy too! Boxing is not a business, boxing is a sport!” he said.
It is worth noting that Zhanibek Alimkhanuly is the WBO and IBF middleweight world champion. David Benavidez competes in the light heavyweight division. He recently defeated Cuban boxer David Morrell (11-1, 9 KOs) by judges’ decision, successfully defending his “interim” world champion title.
