The automobile checkpoints on the Kazakhstan-China border will be closed from January 27 to February 1, as announced by the State Revenue Committee on January 20, according to “Adyrna” correspondent.
“Due to the Spring Festival in China, from 8:00 PM on January 27 to 8:00 AM on February 1, the passage of individuals, vehicles, and goods through the automobile checkpoints on the Kazakhstan-China border will be suspended. However, railway checkpoints will continue to operate as usual,” the statement said.
The State Revenue Committee has requested transporters and all individuals planning to cross the border to take the imposed restrictions into account and plan their routes in advance.
