A quarantine has been introduced in the village of Novoselovka in the Kostanay region due to an outbreak of brucellosis, reports “Nasha Gazeta,” according to the national portal “Adyrna.”

According to the information, the quarantine has been imposed in the area of “INSPEK” LLP, where brucellosis was detected among cattle.

“In this regard, it is prohibited to drive animals through the LLP area, bring in healthy animals, remove animals from the area, prepare fodder, and hold events involving large gatherings of animals or people,” the local administration’s decree states.

Necessary veterinary and sanitary measures will be carried out in the area where brucellosis has been detected. However, animals can be sent for slaughter.

It should be noted that the slaughter of animals affected by brucellosis is allowed through sanitary means.
