An Azerbaijani woman, Muslumat Sirajova, who went missing after the plane crash near Aktau, has been found, reports the “Adyrna” national portal.
Local media reported that she was admitted to the hospital in a coma but has since regained consciousness and recovered.
Nurulla Sirajov, a resident of Azerbaijan’s Zagatala district, had expressed his concern after losing contact with his wife following the crash.
“I just want to know her condition and see her. We were sitting together on the plane. After that, I didn’t see her. She’s the only person I truly miss—my wife,” he said earlier.
Now, Muslumat Sirajova has regained consciousness and started identifying herself. Reports indicate that her son is currently by her side.
To recall, on December 25, an Embraer 190 aircraft belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), en route from Baku to Grozny, crashed near Aktau.
