In 2025, fines and social benefits will increase, reports the national portal “Adyrna.”
The monthly calculation index (MCI) will rise to 3,932 tenge. It has been announced that, starting from the New Year, both social payments and fines will increase.
For instance, drivers caught talking on the phone or not wearing a seatbelt will face a fine of 5 MCI, which will amount to approximately 20,000 tenge next year. Parents of children found wandering the streets after 10 p.m. will be required to pay a fine of around 12,000 tenge.
The minimum pension will be 62,771 tenge, and the monthly childcare allowance will increase from 21,265 tenge to 22,648 tenge.
The official statement also noted that the minimum subsistence level has been raised to 46,228 tenge. Additionally, individuals who spit in public places or litter in unauthorized areas will face a fine of 19,000 tenge.
Moreover, insulting teachers or medical professionals will result in a fine of 39,000 tenge.
