The Kazakhstani athlete performed successfully in the short program, earning 93.21 points. For his free skate performance, he scored 182.96 points, bringing his total score to 276.17 points. As a result, Shaidorov finished the competition with a silver medal.
The first place was claimed by Japan’s Shun Sato, who scored 278.48 points. The top three was rounded out by French skater Adam Siao Him Fa with 252.53 points.
