Kazakh MMA fighter Asu Almabaev secured his fourth victory in a UFC tournament, reports the “Adyrna” national portal.
The fighter competed in a Fight Night series tournament held in Las Vegas, facing Brazilian opponent Matheus Nicolau. Before the fight, Almabaev was ranked 14th in the flyweight division (up to 56.7 kg), while Nicolau was ranked 7th.
The fight, scheduled for three rounds, ended with Almabaev winning by unanimous decision. This marked his 17th consecutive victory. After his win, Almabaev expressed his desire to fight for the UFC championship title.
“Dana, give me one chance. Just one chance to fight for the belt. I am ready!” said the Kazakh fighter, addressing UFC president Dana White.
