The Kazakhstan national football team faced Slovenia in the fourth round of the UEFA Nations League, reports the national portal “Adyrna.”
The match, held at the Central Stadium in Almaty, ended with a score of 0-1. The only goal of the game was scored by Slovenian forward Jan Mlakar in the 55th minute.
To recap, Kazakhstan started their Nations League campaign with a surprising draw (0-0) against Norway but then suffered two heavy defeats: first, they lost 0-3 to Slovenia in an away game, followed by a 0-4 loss to Austria on the road.
As for Slovenia’s performance in the Nations League, besides their win against Kazakhstan, they drew 1-1 with Austria and were defeated 0-3 by Norway.
