The Prime Minister announced that the historical monument Kozha Ahmet Yasawi mausoleum will be protected by state security, the national portal "Adyrna" reports.
The mausoleum of Khoja Ahmet Yasawi is the first Kazakh object included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and is a unique monument of medieval architecture. Taking into account its importance and historical and cultural value, in order to ensure the preservation of the heritage, the Government decided that the security of the "Aziret Sultan" museum-reserve will be monitored by the state security. The head of the government Olzhas Bektenov signed the relevant resolution.
The security of the object is ensured by the relevant departments of the internal affairs bodies. The mausoleum was built in the city of Turkestan at the place where the Turkish poet and founder of Sufi teachings, Khoja Ahmet Yasawi, was buried.
