Today, more than 61,000 people have returned to their homes in flood-affected regions. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the national portal "Adyrna" reported. "As of 17:00 on May 16, 61,153 people returned to their homes in Kazakhstan. 5,363 people, including 2,317 children, are in evacuation centers. Water was diverted and pumped from 11,270 houses and 3,539 yards. More than 21.1 million cubic meters of melted snow water was pumped out, - it is written in the report. 7.9 million bags, more than 1.5 million tons of inert material were laid against the flood.
