China will launch the Shenzhou-18 spacecraft with Taikonav on board from the Jiuquan Spaceport on Thursday. This was announced on Wednesday by the leadership of pilots of the People's Republic of China, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The Shenzhou-18 spacecraft will be launched from the Jiuquan Spaceport (Gansu Province, northwest China) at 20:59 Beijing time on Thursday, according to a representative of the China Flight Program Office.
Chinese astronauts Ye Guangfu, Li Kong and Li Guangsu will carry out the Shenzhou-18 spaceship mission. Ye Guangfu was announced as the space commander.
China's Tiangong orbital station is located at an altitude of about 400 km and is a T-shaped object. It was put into permanent operation in 2022 and is designed for three people (up to six people can be accommodated for a short time during the change of brigades).
