An avalanche occurred spontaneously in Almaty, reported the national portal "Adyrna" referring to the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies.
"A spontaneous avalanche occurred in the basin of the Big Almaty River in Almaty. The volume of the fallen mass was 900 cubic meters," said the message issued on Saturday.
It was noted that there were no victims, destruction or damage.
