The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan urgently flew from Almaty to Bishkek

The chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Zhaparov, urgently flew from Almaty to Bishkek due to the emergency situation in the country, "Adyrna" correspondent reported.

He came to Kazakhstan to attend the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. However, due to the accident at the Bishkek thermal power station, he had to cut short his trip.

According to the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan, 5 people were injured in the accident. Now two of them are in the intensive care unit. Due to the emergency situation, schools and kindergartens in Bishkek switched to online education.

It should be noted that on February 1 Akylbek Japarov met with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smayilov and discussed issues of further development of strategic partnership.
