President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev received the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council Denis Shipp, "Adyrna" correspondent reported with reference to Akorda.
Denis Shipp reported on the results of the activities of the Supreme Judicial Council in 2023, the current state of the judges' corps in the country, and plans for the future period. According to him, the Council implemented a number of tasks assigned by the Head of State last year. Work has been done to strengthen the Supreme Judicial Council in an institutional sense and transfer the issues of preparation of candidates to become judges, raising their qualifications, extending their age limit, temporarily suspending or completely terminating their powers to the competence of this body.
