The head of the Department of Environmental Protection of the city of Astana was suspected of having committed a crime of corruption, and the court process has begun, reports the national portal "Adyrna" with reference to the Anti-Corruption Agency.
"The anti-corruption service has completed the investigation against the head of the MM "Environmental Protection and Nature Management Department of Astana". He was suspected of abusing his official powers and causing damage to the business entity in the amount of 4.7 million tenge.
At present, the accused has been brought to court.
