More than 100 people are involved in extinguishing the fire in the nature reserve in the East Kazakhstan region. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
Today, June 18, at 14:00, a fire broke out in the territory of the Aksu branch of the Katonkaragai National Natural Park (Ust-Yazovskoe Forestry, District 44) 3 kilometers from the village of Sennoe, Katonkaragai District.
11 employees of the Department of Emergency Situations, 99 people and 3 units of forestry equipment, 6 people from aviation forest protection, 7 people from local executive bodies are working at the scene.
Later, it became known that the fire in the territory of the Aksu branch of the Katonkaragai National Natural Park was isolated.
The new mayor of the East Kazakhstan region, Ermek Kosherbayev, flew to the territory of the nature reserve where the fire broke out a day ago.
