Arslan Kaliakparov, the deputy mayor of Pavlodar city, was arrested on suspicion of bribery, "Adyrna" correspondent reported.
"Deputy mayor of Pavlodar city was detained for unobstructedly signing acts of works performed under the state procurement contract for road repair. He is suspected of taking a bribe from a businessman," said Antikor.
A pre-trial investigation is being conducted on this fact.
In accordance with Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other information is not subject to disclosure in the interests of the investigation.
