The 7th international youth boxing tournament dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Amalbek Tshanov, the state and public figure, the first mayor of Shymkent, boxing master of the USSR, began in Shymkent.
Mayor of Shymkent, Murat Aitenov, opened the tournament by wearing a special cloak. The head of the regional sports administration presented the congratulations of the akim of the Turkestan region and a special gift.
The special guest of the tournament, brother Turlykhanov Daulet Bolatuly, conveyed his congratulations and wished good luck to the participating countries and athletes from all regions of the republic.
