The government is forced to increase the price of fuel again.
Bolat Aksholakov, Acting Minister of Energy, stated this, writes the national portal "Adyrna".
"The main reason for the shortage of diesel in Kazakhstan is the price disparity. Domestic fuel prices are significantly cheaper than in neighboring countries. It should be noted that Kazakhstan is among the 10 countries with the cheapest fuel in the world. For example, the price of diesel (1 liter) in Russia is 345 tenge. It is 45 percent more expensive than our market. The price in Kyrgyzstan is 64 percent higher: 1 liter - 390 tenge. "The price in Uzbekistan is 2 times higher than in Kazakhstan: 1 liter is 480 tenge," said the minister.
