The land resources management committee of the city of Almaty conducted an investigation regarding the area of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, which was transferred to private ownership. This was reported by lawyer Bakytzhan Bazarbek, referring to "orda_kz" national portal "Adyrna" wrote.
The committee clarified that the Almaty ex.com. allowed the illegal appropriation of a part of the territory of the National University.
The inter-district economic court of Almaty fully considered the application of the city's land resources management department and "Omirex" LLP, "Atlas Development" LLP, KazNU. In a specially adopted resolution, a demand was made to declare the purchase and sale conditions invalid.
When the court decision enters into legal force, the illegally alienated land plot will be returned to the university.
In his speech, Bakytzhan Bazarbek also emphasized the need to prosecute and punish the officials who signed the illegal decree.
