Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev met with the President of Palestine Mahmud Abbas within the framework of the summit of the Committee of International Trade and Industry, "Adyrna" correspondent reported with reference to Akorda.
The presidents discussed the prospects for the development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Palestine, and exchanged views on current challenges and trends.
The head of state said that he intended to further develop bilateral relations.
In turn, Mahmud Abbas thanked Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev for his warm welcome and organization of the summit at a high level. The President of Palestine is sure that the decisions and documents signed at the summit will contribute to the deepening of mutual cooperation.
