Electric load is increasing
Asuan Ongarbekuly, General Manager of New Nuclear and Energy Technologies of Kazakhstan Atomic Power Stations LLP, explained the topic in detail in his report entitled "Consideration of NPP Construction Possibilities".
The report reviewed the work carried out on the NPP project since 2018. For example, in 2018, an independent international examination was conducted, and in 2019-2021, technical and commercial proposals were received from leading sellers.
Aswan Ongarbekuly said that the electricity load is increasing year by year. For example, it is estimated that in 2021 it will be 15.8 GW, and in 2050 it will reach 38 GW. That is, the load increases twice.
