Houses and villas of oligarch Alisher Usmanov in Germany are being searched. This was announced by Bayerischer Rundfunk, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
According to the publication, the Russian-Uzbek oligarch was suspected of not paying millions of euros in taxes.
"The houses of the Russian Uzbek oligarch Alisher Usmanov in Germany are being searched. He has been living in his house in Rottach-Egern for a long time since 2016, but he has not paid taxes. The prosecutor of Munich conducted a search on suspicion of tax evasion," the publication writes.
According to 2022 Forbes, Usmanov's wealth is estimated at 14.6 billion dollars.
