An extraordinary conference of the National Basketball Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held today in Nur-Sultan. The event was attended by S.Zharasbayev, Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the NOC of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regional federations and members of the Executive Committee of the organization.
During the conference, by unanimous decision of all participants, Abai Abdisametuly Alpamysov became the new head of the Federal Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Previously, from 2013 to 2017, he served as the president of this federation.
