The governor of the district, following Canada as an example, expressed the opinion that "villages should be reduced", reported the national portal "Adyrna".

"We don't need people living in the countryside. We need to be urbanized. Look at Canada, let's take an example. There is no life in the villages, all the energy is focused on the economy," he said.
