The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev imposed a state of emergency in Karakalpakstan for a month, the national portal "Adirna" reported.
The ТЖ regime will be introduced from 00:01 on July 3, 2022 to 00:00 on August 2, 2022.
"In order to ensure the safety of citizens, protect their rights and freedoms, and restore law and order, a state of emergency should be introduced in the territory of the Republic of Karakalpakstan from 00:01 on July 3, 2022 to 00:00 on August 2, 2022," says Mirziyev's Decree.
He also ordered to introduce a curfew from 21:00 to 07:00 in the territory of Karakalpakstan.
