The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has banned the export of sugar, Adyrna correspondent reports.
"The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan will temporarily ban the export of sugar and cane sugar from the country for a period of six months," the resolution reads.
According to the press service, the decree was developed to prevent the possibility of mass export of sugar from the country, to ensure food security in Kyrgyzstan and curb market prices.
