In this regard, the Department of Internal Policy and Education of Almaty region jointly launched the project "Life Orientation".
The main goal is to provide vocational guidance for schoolchildren.
The project, which will be implemented for the first time in the country, has a different name. Representatives of certain educational institutions not only talk to graduates.
The unique project will cover all students in grades 9-11 from 800 rural schools in Almaty region. Each child's abilities will be analyzed individually, and the student will be given a career guidance.
Vocational guidance includes graduates and their parents. According to project leaders, the child's decision is influenced by the opinion of the parents. Therefore, parents are also informed about why their child should pay special attention to the choice of future profession, what professions will be in demand in the future.
Bolat Kerimbek, the head of the Department of Internal Policy of Almaty oblast, said that the new project will be launched soon.
“The project will be implemented from 13 to 22 April. We have created a special working group. In the future, they will visit every region of the region and carry out explanatory work. Information about the project will be published in the media, it is planned to place an informational text on the TV channel. A special call center will also be launched, ”Bolat Bakbergenuly said.
According to the work plan of the project "Life Orientation", a fund will be established in the future to support talented students. It is also planned to open a "Botanical Garden" near the school to encourage children to protect the environment. In addition, the development of a debate movement among schoolchildren will be started.
It's worth noting that a pilot project "Telephone school and college" will be implemented. For the first time, this initiative will be implemented in №9 schools in Taldykorgan.
