The Backstreet Boys, who arrived in Astana for a concert, took part in a community cleanup and tree-planting event at the Park of Peace and Accord as part of the “Clean Kazakhstan” ecological month, reports Adyrna citing the official website of the city administration.

The Park of Peace and Accord is a unique space designed to strengthen interfaith and intercultural dialogue. It features the “Starry Sky” tunnel, the “Tree of Life” monument, and tiered waterfalls.

“As part of the ‘Clean Kazakhstan. Astana – a model of cleanliness and order’ ecological month, a special event took place here: the famous Backstreet Boys joined local residents in planting trees. The musicians warmly embraced the environmental initiative and were happy to contribute to building a greener city,” the statement said.

Band member Brian Littrell shared his impressions of Kazakhstan on his Instagram page, posting photos from the visit.

The concert will be held on September 21, with tens of thousands of fans expected to come to the capital from all over the world.
