On New Year’s Eve, 181 babies were born in Kazakhstan, reports Adyrna, citing the Ministry of Health.
Of the newborns, 105 are boys, and 76 are girls.
The highest number of births was recorded in the Turkestan region, with 34 babies born. The second spot goes to Almaty city and Almaty region, with 17 newborns each. Shymkent city ranks third with 16 births. Additionally, twins were born in the Mangystau region.
In Astana, exactly 10 babies were born on New Year’s Eve, the same number as last year.
