The Ministry of Internal Affairs spoke about the conflict at an entertainment center and criticized the deputies, reports the national portal “Adyrna.”
During the off-site Government Hour dedicated to public safety and order, the Ministry of Internal Affairs was asked about reducing the number of entertainment venues.
Member of Parliament Danabek Isabek noted that most calls to the emergency number 102 occur at night and on weekends. He asked what results the safety rating of entertainment venues had produced.
Minister Yerzhan Sadenov emphasized that introducing such a rating would not completely solve the issue.
“Currently, there are 193 entertainment centers included in this rating. Crimes and acts of hooliganism have been recorded there. We identify such establishments, publish the information on our websites, and inform local authorities. Why? So that people can see it and draw their own conclusions. But if the food is tasty and the entertainment is good, people will still go there regardless of the rating. We know that, we all witness it. Some of you might even go there yourselves… We know how it is,” the minister replied.
The session also touched upon the issue of deaths in the military.
