The Cambodian authorities have nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. An official letter to the Nobel Committee was sent by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, reports Adyrna.
According to the information, Cambodia highly values the U.S. president’s “state wisdom.” They also expressed gratitude for his mediation in resolving Cambodia’s conflict with Thailand.
The Cambodians believe that “the U.S. president has achieved outstanding results in easing tensions in some of the world’s most unstable regions.”
“As the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, I would like to nominate the Honorable Donald Trump, the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America, for the Nobel Prize in recognition of his historic contribution to promoting world peace,” Hun Manet wrote.
It should be recalled that Donald Trump spoke with the leaders of both countries and tried to reconcile Cambodia and Thailand. As a result, the two countries reached a peace agreement.
In addition, in June, the Pakistani authorities also nominated the U.S. president for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize for mediating in the resolution of the conflict with India.
