Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen participated in the international “Meikin Asia” festival in Kyrgyzstan, reports the national portal “Adyrna”.
The news was confirmed by the founder of the festival, People’s Writer of the Kyrgyz Republic and Secretary General of the TURKSOY organization, Sultan Raev.
On July 22, Dimash arrived at the festival held on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul and was warmly welcomed by the public. He was personally greeted at the venue by Sultan Raev himself.
According to Raev, he has met Dimash several times before. The singer first gained international recognition 12 years ago when he won the Grand Prix at this very festival.
“At that time, he was only 19 years old. Vocalists from 16 countries competed at the festival. Dimash stood out among them and won the top prize. Since then, he has become a global star,” said Sultan Raev.
Raev also mentioned that he invited Dimash to attend the festival during a concert in Turkey last year.
Additionally, Raev posted on his social media:
“The echo of the ‘Meikin Asia’ festival, Dimash’s cosmic voice, has reached Mexico. This photo was shared by the Mexican segment… With love from Mexico!”
