AI-92 gasoline has become more expensive in Kazakhstan, reports the national portal “Adyrna.”
In February, the government removed the price cap on gasoline, which led to a rise in fuel prices across the market. Over the past month, the price of AI-92 gasoline has increased by 1 to 4 tenge in the cities of Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent.
At several gas stations in the capital, prices have risen from 209 tenge to 213–215 tenge per liter.
In Almaty, prices have increased at all major gas station chains. The lowest price went from 202 tenge to 205 tenge, while the highest reached 216 tenge.
A price increase was also observed in Shymkent, where the highest price for gasoline has reached 205 tenge.
