The Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev told why Pavel Durov, the founder of the Russian Telegram application, came to Kazakhstan. He announced this before the joint session of the Parliament Chambers, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
"Pavel Durov is here, he wants to see Kazakhstan. It may be in other cities (except Astana - ed.). We are working out the plan now. He came with great interest. If so, I think we will implement successful projects in the future. For now, I can't say anything about specific projects. But we will do everything so that he likes Kazakhstan, so that he sees a great future in the field of joint technology. We will work," said the minister before the joint session of the Parliament chambers.
He also said that more than 10 million people used the application founded by Pavel Durov in Kazakhstan.
It should be noted that earlier Pavel Durov announced that he had acquired French citizenship and said that he would go to Central Asia during the summer.
