The driver of the truck that hit 29 schoolchildren in the Sozak district of Kyrgyzstan was arrested. This was stated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country, "Adyrna" reporter reported.
The suspect was identified as a 48-year-old local resident. The man parked his car, but did not turn off the engine. As a result, the "Porter" truck fell towards the road and hit the children.
The Ministry of Health announced that the number of victims has increased from 25 to 32. There is one teacher among them. Four of the 9 children in the hospital are in the intensive care unit, their condition is serious.
It should be noted that the accident happened on May 2 in Jalalabad region. Currently, the head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamshibek Tashiev, and the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Oktyabr Urmanbetov, have taken control of this case.
